All I want for Christmas...
Season’s Greetings *|FNAME|*!

With just a few days to go until the holidays officially start I wanted to wish you and your nearest & dearest all the best for a fantastic festive season….

I’ve been lucky enough to spend most of December in the Alps, with highlights including…

  • Staying and shooting in possibly the most fabulous chalet in the Alps
  • Finding some elusive powder in Alpe d’Huez
  • Happening across some of the coolest icicles I’ve ever seen

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a great start to 2010, until next time…

Lap of Luxury
I was delighted to be invited to shoot some of the chalets for the new luxury chalet company, Consensio Holidays, in Meribel and Val d’Isere. I was expecting luxury – but I was absolutely blown away by the standard and facilities I found.

I’ve included a couple of my favourite shots, of which the swimming pool at Chalet Montana is my ultimate choice – probably because the only way to capture the view was to take the shot whilst in the shallow end…. As the saying goes, it’s a hard life but somebody’s got to do it….

After Val d’Isere & Meribel it was off to Alpe d’Huez via Vallandry. It was the second day of the season and we managed to find a few powder stashes that Mother Nature had left hidden away for us.

This shoot was for Getty Images and it was great to get a chance to test some of the clothing and skis that Salomon had sent Ben as well as some of next season’s eyewear from Bolle.
