I went out to shoot some winter walking pictures for Getty a few days ago and really found the weather conditions to be fairly appalling, really just plain old nasty!
I had asked my model Ben to grow a nice big beard for the shots, but we just got so cold and wet we soon packed up and headed for the warmth and a cup of tea. So I decided to eliminate the weather factor and shoot some stock pictures in the studio instead, It worked out fine in the end, gradually losing the beard as we went. We got a little carried away on the original theme but what the hell.

Snowdonia yesterday was fantastic, we drove over to shoot some winter walking and scrambling stock shots, we ended up on the Tryfan knee deep in snow. Driving home was hilarious, we gave the general 2mph public a lesson in alpine driving
